This year again, BS Coatings was exhibitor in London the 8th and 9th October 2019, at the Field Joint Coatings AMI Conference.

After the presentation of the benefits of the BS Coatings Low Application Temperature Fusion Bonded Epoxy (LAT FBE) Eurokote 716 by Barry Turner at the AMI conference in 2017, Pipeline Technique (www.pipeline-technique.com), a leading company specialised in pipeline construction, presented this year its new system for Polypropylene (PP) tape wrap Field Joint (FJ) coating, which includes the Eurokote 716 as an anti-corrosion primer. 

The presentation showed that the system is robust and passes the tests requested in the relevant international standards for FJ, even the short bending radius test at cold temperature.

Thanks to the excellent compatibility between the Eurokote 716 epoxy primer, the PP material and the application equipment designed by Pipeline Technique, this new PP tape wrap system combines fast cycle time, flexibility during loading and installation and reliable long-term protection during service life. This makes the Pipeline Technique system one of the most competitive systems on the market for pipeline Field Joints coating.
